FactNest is a home for curious minds: discover facts, explore related ideas, save discoveries, and ask follow-up questions. These draft terms cover the FactNest website and app.
The website is currently a Coming Soon preview. App features may be introduced gradually, and availability can differ by platform. The legal name of the service operator will be added to the final version.
Accounts and eligibility
You may explore the app as a guest or sign in using a supported account provider. A guest session still has an identifier so your interests, library, and progress can be kept together.
Keep your sign-in access secure and provide accurate information when requested. Signing in may link or merge your guest activity with your account.
The minimum age, parental permission requirements, and launch availability will be confirmed in the final terms.
Using the service fairly
Use FactNest lawfully and respect the people and services behind it. In particular, do not:
- Access another person's account or private data without permission.
- Bypass access controls, usage limits, or security protections.
- Submit unlawful material or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Disrupt the service or use automated requests to abuse its resources.
Facts, sources, and AI
FactNest uses AI to help create explanations and answer questions. AI output may contain mistakes, outdated information, or incomplete context. A linked source is a starting point for your own reading, rather than a guarantee that every statement is correct.
The service is for learning and exploration. Its content does not replace qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Verify information before making decisions that depend on it.
Do not include passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information, or another person's private data in your questions.
Content and third-party links
You retain any rights you have in the content you submit. To provide the service, FactNest needs to process that content, store your conversations, and send relevant context to its service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
The FactNest name, mascot, and original design belong to their respective rights holders. Source articles, illustrations, and other third-party material remain subject to their owners' rights. Linking to an article does not grant permission to republish it.
External websites and sign-in providers have their own terms and policies.
Future paid features
This Coming Soon website does not sell subscriptions or accept payments. If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before purchase.
The final terms will describe any app-store purchase rules and how to manage a subscription. Deleting an account should not be assumed to cancel a separate store subscription.
Leaving and deleting your data
The app includes a Delete your data action in Settings. It permanently removes the guest or signed-in account's private data, including facts, conversations, interests, and progress. A signed-in user must verify their identity before deletion.
There is no cancellation window after a deletion request is accepted. The app starts a fresh guest session afterward; device preferences such as language may remain. Technical cleanup may continue if a backend operation needs to be retried.
Availability and changes
Features may change, and maintenance or technical failures may interrupt the service. The final terms will set out support commitments, any applicable warranties, and responsibility for losses.
Nothing in the final agreement should remove rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Material updates will be identified in the document and communicated where required.
Operator, contact, and applicable law
The operator's legal name, contact email, jurisdiction, and dispute-handling provisions are pending confirmation. They will be added before this document becomes the published Terms of Service.
